Welcome to the Bumpkin Chelsea wedding of Sara & Mike!  This was such a cool and effortlessly fun day, I enjoyed it immensely.

Sara & Mike were married at Old Chelsea Town Hall surrounded by their closest friends and Family.  Their reception was held in the Bumpkin Chelsea on Sydney street, Sara & Mike were such fun to work with.  They were married in the afternoon with a simple ceremony.

It was quite an emotional ceremony, they were joined by their beautiful daughter, she looked like an absolute angel!

Fun photography for a Bumpkin Chelsea Wedding

This Bumpkin Chelsea wedding was held at, you guessed it!  The Bumpkin in Chelsea.  It was a very warm day and the staff had accounted for this.  The awning over the back area where they had their wedding breakfast was pulled back.  The entire area had been transformed, it was classy and elegant with a very nice breeze!

I just loved the energy and spirit of every single person that attended the wedding.  The staff at the Bumpkin Chelsea were on point, they were so helpful and accommodating.  It was pleasure to work here.  At the front of the restaurant, Sara and Mike had organised a Photo Booth section, there were masks and signs for everyone to play with.  All of the guests had such a great time mucking about with these.

The speeches

These had me in stitches, they were really, really good!  Sara’s sister started the proceeding with a really lovely homage to her sister.  She also there in some ‘in’ jokes and anecdotes from their past.  Swiftly followed by Sara’s dad, then it was the Best Man’s turn!  He delivered a very cheeky but ridiculously funny speech, I think there were definitely a few red faces that day!

The Evening

As we transitioned to the evening of the Bumpkin Chelsea wedding, the sparklers came out, it is quite difficult organising a sparkler shot.  As you can imagine, it can be pretty dangerous!  We just about managed it without any major casualties.  I also managed to get some more shots of the couple together before we went in for the first dance.

This was up there with my top ten first dances, Sara and Mike smashed it with a really fun dance, you could see the sparks flying. It was a great evening, eventually some of the masks from the photo booth made it onto the dance floor, which made for some laughable shots!

Thanks so much Sara and Mike, it was an honour to be your wedding photographer.
